Get ready to see your star flip, fly, and soar in our high-energy Tumble Stars Program—a floor-focused adventure designed for boys and girls who just can’t stop moving!

From learning the basics to launching into sky-high tumbling passes, our classes blend floor skills, TumblTrak tricks, and trampoline fun into one awesome experience. We focus on form, strength, and safe progressions—but never forget the fun.

Whether they’re rolling for the first time or perfecting their back handspring, your child will be tumbling toward the stars in no time!

Class Descriptions

All of our Parent and Child classes are held upstairs in our tot gym full of equipment made specifically for our little stars!

Tot Tumble

Tot Tumbling is a great class for children who are interested in only working on floor skills. This class would also benefit Big Dippers and Gym Stars who are eager for extra practice on handstands, cartwheels, and backbend kickovers.

Beginner Tumbling

Ready to flip, roll, and go upside down?
Beginner Tumbling is where your tumbling journey takes off!
In this fun, high-energy class, you’ll learn the basics like lunges, rolls, cartwheels, backbend beginnings—and the mighty handstand!
You’ll also start to understand how your body moves with balance, strength, and control.
It’s the perfect place to build skills, confidence, and have a blast doing it!

Intermediate Tumbling

Get ready to bend, roll, and fly—Intermediate Tumbling is where the magic happens!
In this action-packed class, tumblers will tackle awesome skills like pointed-toe back walkovers, backbend stand-ups, front limbers, and tick-tocks (yep, that’s a real move!).
You’ll dive into dive rolls, back extension rolls, and start cool drills for round-offs and flip-flops.
The backbend fun never ends—and your Tumble Star will be challenged, motivated, and flipping with confidence!

 

Advanced Tumbling

Advanced Tumbling is where hard work meets high-flying fun!
In this class, tumblers have sharpened their body awareness and are ready to turn strong foundations into powerful skills.
Front limbers grow into front walkovers—and then front handsprings! Dive rolls transform into front tucks, and flip flops get polished and performed on a variety of surfaces, including the TumblTrak.
It’s serious progress, exciting challenges, and the thrill of watching your skills take flight!

 

Power Tumbling 1

Power Tumble 1 is where strength meets speed—and skills really take off!
At this level, tumblers focus on powering up their passes by connecting multiple flip flops on different surfaces and mastering round-off flip flop combos on the floor.
They’ll keep building momentum with front tucks and front handsprings, adding more power and control to every move.
Plus—get ready—drills for back tucks are introduced here, setting the stage for some seriously exciting progress!

 

Power Tumbling 2

Power Tumble 2 is the peak of our tumbling program—and the sky’s the limit!
At this elite level, athletes who’ve mastered their back tucks on the floor are ready to launch into back layouts, twisting skills, front handspring-front tucks, front step-outs, and so much more.
Every class is packed with powerful progressions and thrilling new challenges—too many to list!
If you’re ready to flip higher, twist faster, and push your limits, this is the place to shine.

 

Teen Tumble

Teen Tumble is perfect for athletes in 6th grade and up who want to focus only on tumbling!
This class builds strong foundations with basic tumbling skills and targeted strength work to support them.
As athletes grow more confident, they’ll begin progressions for more advanced skills—like the exciting flip flop!
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up, this class is all about building power, confidence, and clean technique—one tumble at a time!

Tumbling FAQ

Flying High classes run all year long—no long-term commitment needed!
Jump in anytime; tuition is paid monthly and stays the same, whether the month is long or short (it all evens out!).
Starting mid-month? No worries—we’ll prorate!
 A $35 annual admin fee is due when you enroll and each year after. (Non-refundable, but helps keep the magic going!)

Not at all! Our classes are grouped by age and skill, so everyone’s working on the same fun stuff. 
New students jump right in, and those who’ve already mastered the skills have moved on up—so your child will fit right in and shine in no time!

Yes! We have viewing rooms available and you are more than welcome to come and watch a class in action! We also have a Café where drinks and snacks can be purchased while you watch class.

At Flying High, we group by age to match natural stages of child development—but every kiddo grows at their own pace! 
Each class has a skill checklist, and once your child masters all the moves, they’re ready to level up—no matter their age.
It’s all about confidence, progress, and celebrating each child’s unique journey!

We highly recommend that our female gymnasts wear a leotard to class. Leotards with skirts can get caught on the equipment; spandex shorts are a better option. In the colder months, girls are more than welcome to wear tight fitting leggings over their leotards. A wide variety of leotards, shorts, and leggings can be found in our Pro Shop!

For our boy gymnasts, a t-shirt and shorts without a zipper are recommended, just not too loose fitting. In the colder months, boys may choose to wear sweat pants or a long sleeve t-shirt. T-shirts and shorts are available in our Pro Shop!

At Flying High, evaluations are a big celebration! 
When a coach feels your child is ready, a fresh set of eyes (an evaluator from outside their class) will guide them through their skill list to see how far they’ve come.
If it’s time to level up, they’ll ring the bell loud and proud—while the whole gym cheers them on like the superstar they are!

How many times a week should my child attend class?
That’s up to you—but we highly recommend coming twice a week! 
It helps your child grow stronger, stretch farther, learn faster, and master all that fun gymnastics lingo.
More time in the gym = more progress, more confidence, and more fun! 

What if my child needs a little extra practice?
We’ve got plenty of ways to boost their skills and confidence! 🌟
